About the Role

The position is responsible for managing generics programs across major client accounts, aligning internal teams and external partners to optimize product availability, pricing strategies, and long-term supply agreements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and execution of generics-focused programs for top-tier accounts
  • Collaborate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and ensure consistent supply
  • Analyze market trends and pricing dynamics for generic pharmaceuticals
  • Develop strategic plans to expand generics penetration within client portfolios
  • Serve as primary point of contact for generics-related initiatives with key customers
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including procurement, operations, and sales
  • Monitor program performance and report on key metrics and outcomes
  • Identify opportunities to improve cost savings through generics utilization
  • Negotiate agreements that support long-term supply stability
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory standards
  • Facilitate onboarding of new generics products into client systems
  • Support forecasting and demand planning activities
  • Drive adoption of generics in alignment with customer goals
  • Manage relationships with internal stakeholders to align priorities
  • Provide market intelligence on competitor generics strategies
  • Lead quarterly business reviews with strategic partners
  • Develop presentations and reports for senior leadership
  • Respond to customer inquiries related to generics availability
  • Evaluate new generics sourcing opportunities
  • Promote innovation in generics supply chain solutions
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of FDA approvals and product launches
  • Work closely with clinical and formulary teams when applicable
  • Support contracting and rebate negotiations for generics
  • Ensure alignment between corporate generics strategy and account-specific goals
  • Track regulatory changes affecting generic drug distribution
