Synchrony is seeking a Manager, Innovation Analytics (L09). This individual contributor role is part of the Credit organization and will join the Credit - Innovation Analytics team. You will provide valuable expertise in application and solution development for analytics use cases that enable Synchrony’s growth and profitability.

What You'll Do

Lead and support the development and maintenance of the web-based Analytics Platform initiative.
Provide technology consulting to stakeholders and the team for building analytics solution design and implementation.
Design and build the front-end and back-end of the analytics platform, review security issues, and release to production by working with security and release management teams.

What We're Looking For

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or another quantitative field with 2+ years of experience, or in absence of a degree, 4+ years of experience.
Good working knowledge in Python, Java, JavaScript, NodeJS, HTML, and MySQL to deliver solutions across JavaScript, Python, and Java tech stacks.
Exposure to the MVC design pattern for building applications.
Experience in creating visualizations using D3JS and Chart JS.
Effective communication skills.

Nice to Have

Experience writing ETL scripts to extract data from multiple data sources like Hadoop, Oracle, and text files and loading it into an application database.
Working knowledge of SAS scripts and their execution flow.
Experience with Analytics KPIs in a web application.
