As the Manager, Industrial Hygiene, you will oversee the development and evolution of global industrial hygiene programs, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards, internal policies, and leading practices. Your work will directly influence how organizations manage health risks in diverse operational environments, from laboratories to production facilities.
What You'll Do
- Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of global IH programs grounded in regulatory compliance and risk-based decision-making
- Refine and standardize exposure assessment methodologies for chemical, biological, and physical hazards across international sites
- Conduct and support workplace evaluations to identify and mitigate health risks
- Strengthen organizational safety culture through coaching, mentorship, and leadership engagement
- Create and deploy global training initiatives in industrial hygiene and ergonomics
- Direct the Enzyme Risk Assessment and Management Program, expanding internal technical capabilities
- Support investigations into high-potential safety incidents and guide corrective actions
- Provide expert input during EHS audits and contribute to capital project reviews to ensure health considerations are integrated early
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field
- At least five years of hands-on experience in industrial hygiene or a comparable EHS role
- Proven background in both qualitative and quantitative exposure assessment techniques
- Ability to interpret technical data and regulations to deliver actionable insights
- Experience improving or building corporate safety programs
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital tracking platforms
- Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) or equivalent credential
- Capacity to work independently and within cross-functional global teams

- Leadership experience with corporate Hazard Communication programs
- Familiarity with REACH regulations
