Current is hiring a Manager, Human Resources

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with executive leaders and external human capital groups to align HR initiatives with business objectives
  • Advise on organizational structure, workforce strategy, and leadership succession planning
  • Create, deploy, and uphold HR policies and practices that support compliance, culture, and operational goals
  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes, from job postings to candidate screening, interviews, and offer management
  • Work closely with hiring managers to assess staffing requirements and execute targeted recruitment strategies
  • Lead employee onboarding and offboarding procedures to ensure a smooth and positive experience
  • Coordinate new hire orientation and assist with benefits enrollment
  • Manage the performance review cycle, ensuring timely and consistent execution
  • Support managers in performance discussions, engagement efforts, and employee development planning
  • Advance employee development through training programs, leadership initiatives, and career progression planning
  • Help cultivate a pipeline of future organizational leaders
  • Serve as the main HR contact for employee questions on policies, benefits, and workplace matters
  • Handle employee relations issues, including documentation, investigations, and resolution with confidentiality
  • Foster a positive work environment through engagement efforts and daily HR support
  • Oversee payroll processes by reviewing data, conducting pre-payroll audits, and ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Monitor and audit inputs such as timekeeping, paid time off balances, and payroll adjustments
  • Partner with payroll and benefits teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure on-time processing
  • Support benefits administration, including new hire and annual enrollment (note: oversees payroll accuracy but does not process payroll directly)
  • Maintain accurate, current, and confidential employee records and HR documentation
  • Manage HRIS platforms to ensure data integrity, reporting reliability, and system efficiency
  • Conduct internal compliance audits, including I-9 and Department of Labor requirements
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment regulations in coordination with compliance teams
  • Review time and attendance data, resolve inconsistencies, and manage PTO tracking and reporting
  • Design and roll out HR programs focused on engagement, wellness, and leadership growth
  • Organize training sessions and professional development opportunities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline
  • 5 to 7 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity
  • Solid understanding of HR principles, employment regulations, and industry best practices
  • Proven track record in employee relations, performance management, and benefits oversight
  • Proficient in HRIS systems (UKG preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

Nice to Have

  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) or an advanced degree

Compensation

Base salary starts at $125,000 annually, adjusted for experience and qualifications. Includes a commission structure to enhance earning potential.
