Duck Creek Technologies is hiring a Manager, GTM Sales Operations

About the Role

As Manager, GTM Sales Operations at Duck Creek Technologies, you will be a pivotal business partner to our Go-To-Market (GTM) Organization, with a primary focus on Software Sales. You are responsible for designing and managing the strategic roadmap for our GTM technology stack, incorporating AI and agentic technology, ensuring data integrity, running the Sales Ops service desk, and playing a key role in a multi-year quoting tool replacement program.

What You'll Do

  • Manage the strategy and roadmap for the GTM tech stack and tooling.
  • Collaborate with Sales Ops, Sales, Marketing and IT leadership to design GTM tech stack strategy, incorporating existing CRM, quoting, customer engagement, and marketing tools.
  • Determine investment required to implement GTM tech stack roadmap and develop business cases supporting incremental investment.
  • Project manage and undertake evaluations of solutions to address needs identified in the GTM tech stack roadmap.
  • Develop improvement plans for existing tools, including Salesforce.com (SFDC), and interface with IT to determine investment, priority and implementation timing.
  • Evaluate how AI tools and agentic technology can contribute to the roadmap and improve efficiency and sales competency.
  • Collaborate with IT to develop and maintain Sales Ops & IT RACI to optimize interaction between the two functions.
  • Work with Sales Enablement to build change management approaches for new/updated tooling and drive adoption.
  • Support GTM data integrity by keeping SFDC and data warehouse records clean, deduped, and trustworthy.
  • Manage SFDC opportunity and account layouts to optimize Sales Director time and capture competitive intelligence.
  • Collaborate with IT to integrate data between GTM software and tools to drive data visibility, actionable insight, and reporting.
  • Establish and run Sales Ops service desk function.
  • Line manage one Operations Analyst based in India, coaching and mentoring them and undertaking regular performance evaluations.
  • Design and maintain service desk vs rest of sales ops RACI.
  • Build a service desk playbook creating repeatable processes for recurring data/reporting requirements, administrative updates, and commission accrual/payment.
  • Build quoting tool competency to provide key redundancy to commercial ops team.
  • Participate in multi-year cross-functional program to replace existing quoting tool.
  • Along with Commercial Ops, represent Sales Ops in transformation program to replace CPQ with a go-forward quoting solution.
  • Work with project management office to conduct a software evaluation exercise to select the best fit replacement for CPQ.
  • Collaborate with relevant functions to assess and optimize existing business processes ahead of replacement tool implementation.
  • Provide quoting tool support to Commercial Ops to balance bandwidth requirements on replacement project.

What We're Looking For

  • A four-year college degree from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of four years in Sales/GTM Operations or related roles.
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce.com, CPQ, Salesloft, Demandbase and related Sales enablement tools.
  • Strong working knowledge of recent developments in AI, Agentic AI, and similar technology as it relates to go-to-market motions.
  • Experience collaborating across functions to drive transformation initiatives and cross-functional alignment.
  • Experience successfully designing and implementing new operational processes and optimizing existing processes.
  • Experience engaging with stakeholders at senior levels.

Nice to Have

  • Project management experience.
  • Experience implementing and improving salesforce.com instances.
  • Experience in compensation plan design and administration.

Team & Environment

You will be part of a global flock of more than 1,700 employees and serve as a key partner within the GTM Organization, collaborating closely with Software Sales, Sales Ops, Marketing, IT, and Commercial Ops. You will directly manage one Operations Analyst based in India.
