Responsibilities
- Lead investigations into employee complaints with fairness and confidentiality
- Provide guidance to managers on handling performance and conduct issues
- Interpret company policies and employment laws to support consistent decisions
- Develop strategies to reduce workplace conflict and improve team dynamics
- Maintain documentation of employee relations cases and outcomes
- Partner with HR colleagues to align responses with organizational values
- Identify trends in employee concerns and recommend preventive actions
- Support organizational changes by addressing employee impact and morale
- Deliver training to staff on respectful workplace practices
- Ensure compliance with labor regulations in employee-related decisions
- Advise on disciplinary actions and terminations following due process
- Promote equitable treatment across departments and regions
- Respond promptly to urgent employee relations matters
- Collaborate with legal counsel when complex issues arise
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment law developments
- Assist in drafting and updating employee policies
- Foster trust by acting impartially and with integrity
- Measure effectiveness of employee relations programs
- Support diversity and inclusion efforts through fair practices
- Escalate systemic issues to senior HR leadership
