Raytheon (RTX) is hiring a Manager, Contracts to provide contract management support of significant scope and complexity for the Standard Missile 3 (SM-3) program. In this remote role, you will ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements for proposal, negotiation, and contract execution.
What You'll Do
- Provide sound contract management to meet customer obligations, achieve company goals, and comply with company policies.
- Professionally represent Raytheon on contractual transactions and work closely with customers to develop and maintain business relationships.
- Support the analysis of Requests for Proposal (RFP), development of proposals, proposal reviews and coordination, negotiation, contractual agreements, contract execution, and general contract administration.
- Effectively manage contractual scope and terms and conditions to ensure the contract is followed compliantly.
- Identify, mitigate, and resolve contractual issues as they may arise.
- Provide guidance regarding contractual and business issues, advising management of contractual rights and obligations as well as possible mitigation of contractual/program risks.
- Be a strong business partner with others and work well in a team environment.
- Potentially travel to support meetings and negotiations.
What We're Looking For
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years’ experience.
- Experience working with US Government (USG) contracts and/or Commercial contracts that include Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS).
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

- Experience with Foreign Military Sales (FMS).
- Demonstrated ability to develop effective and sustaining relationships with customers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
- Business acumen with financial understanding of the business.
- Effective critical and strategic thinking and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in a position requiring multi-tasking and handling several assignments concurrently or similar project management or coordination.
- Advanced Degrees such as JD Law Degree or MBA or relevant Contracts Certifications such as CPCM or CFCM.
- Active US Government DoD Secret Security Clearance.
