Centene is looking for a Manager, Compliance (Duals & D-SNP Product) to ensure our health plans meet rigorous regulatory standards. You'll lead efforts to maintain compliance with federal, state, and local requirements for our Duals and Dual Eligible Special Needs Plan (D-SNP) products, directly contributing to our mission of transforming community health.
What You'll Do
- Manage the approval and submission of timely, accurate D-SNP State Medicaid Agency Contract (SMAC) and regulatory reports.
- Oversee all SMAC updates, including creating new and amending existing contracts with CMS, Health Plans, States, and vendors.
- Conduct periodic assessments to ensure compliance against SMAC and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the creation and implementation of corrective action plans to mitigate risks from non-compliance.
- Collaborate with CMS, States, Product, and Strategy teams to improve regulator satisfaction regarding member and provider experience.
- Manage the composition and delivery of inquiries and responses to state regulatory agencies on D-SNP matters.
- Actively engage in regulatory forums and dedicated state meetings for D-SNP programs.
- Support responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and new business implementations by completing assigned compliance tasks.
- Participate in new Duals business implementations, identifying and tracking required SMAC deliverables.
- Design, implement, and improve processes to prevent, detect, and respond to compliance issues.
- Create and deliver Duals compliance training for all employees annually and as needed.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Administration, Compliance, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience in compliance, including risk assessment, auditing, monitoring, reporting, corrective actions, policy implementation, and training.
- Direct experience with D-SNP SMACs, regulatory requirements, and/or operations.
- Medicare managed health experience.
