Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of compliance policies and procedures
- Monitor changes in healthcare regulations and adjust organizational practices accordingly
- Conduct internal audits to assess compliance with federal and state laws
- Collaborate with legal and operational teams to address regulatory concerns
- Deliver compliance training to employees across departments
- Investigate potential compliance violations and recommend corrective actions
- Maintain documentation for audits and regulatory submissions
- Support the implementation of ethics and compliance frameworks
- Evaluate risks related to regulatory non-compliance
- Work with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed
- Ensure alignment with HIPAA, OIG guidelines, and other healthcare standards
- Assist in updating compliance protocols in response to legal updates
- Track compliance metrics and report findings to leadership
- Promote a culture of integrity and accountability across teams
- Manage third-party vendor compliance assessments
