METRO/MAKRO is hiring a Manager, Compensation and Commercial Performance for its People & Culture department. You will be part of the HR Performance and Data Directorate, focusing on the operational scope of METRO France. Your role is pivotal in defining, managing, and implementing the global compensation policy, with a focus on variable remuneration and commission plans for commercial populations, in close collaboration with the Sales and Operations Directorate.
What You'll Do
- Design and manage variable compensation plans, especially for commercial teams.
- Define reliable, fair calculation models aligned with business objectives.
- Ensure the consistency and reliability of calculations to guarantee system transparency and performance.
- Manage annual salary campaigns and help prepare Mandatory Annual Negotiations.
- Coordinate the proper application of various measures across all company departments.
- Prepare decision-making support materials for the Executive Committee and managers.
- Create or update job frameworks, classifications, and mapping for your scope.
- Conduct internal and external benchmarks, including salary surveys and job pricing.
- Manage, support, and develop the skills of two team members.
- Organize and prioritize team tasks to ensure reliable analyses, quality deliverables, and on-time results.
- Develop team expertise in compensation, data analysis, and HR tools.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of confirmed experience in a similar compensation role, ideally in a multi-site environment.
- Solid expertise in variable compensation, particularly commercial schemes.
- Ability to analyze complex volumes of data with advanced mastery of Excel, Power Query, and Power Pivot.
- Proven skill in producing reliable, readable, and useful reports for management.
- Rigor, a strong sense of confidentiality, and the ability to structure precise analyses.
- Relational ease and ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, including Finance, Sales, and General Management.
- Professional command of English for interaction with the Group.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of Bqom, or an aptitude for quickly becoming proficient with new tools.
