Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end management of BSA/AML policy and procedure documentation, including creation, revisions, validation, approvals, and recordkeeping.
- Ensure operational procedures are aligned with current practices, regulatory standards, and organizational risk tolerance.
- Collaborate with Operations and Program Management to convert regulatory or audit input into actionable, practical guidelines.
- Maintain accurate version tracking, scheduled reviews, and documented implementation of policies.
- Work with Learning & Development to build and update training materials for BSA/AML compliance.
- Assign relevant training modules to employees based on role, including onboarding, annual refreshers, and position-specific requirements.
- Support assessment tools such as knowledge validations, attestations, and monitoring of training completion.
- Ensure training content reflects the latest procedures, program requirements, and regulatory expectations.
- Prepare and maintain records demonstrating training effectiveness for audits and examiner requests.
- Act as the central contact for internal audit and independent testing inquiries related to BSA/AML.
- Coordinate preparation and response for regulatory examinations and supervisory reviews.
- Oversee validation and assurance efforts tied to BSA/AML operational controls.
- Track requests, deadlines, responsible parties, and responses to ensure timely and complete deliverables.
- Review submission materials for accuracy, consistency, and defensibility before release.
- Assist in drafting management responses, tracking identified issues, and documenting remediation efforts.
- Coordinate follow-up on findings from audits, exams, and validation activities.
- Monitor and document progress of corrective actions and verify completion.
- Analyze recurring issues and trends to guide enhancements in compliance programs.
- Support governance meetings and contribute to management reporting as needed.
- Work closely with BSA/AML Operations and Investigations teams to ensure alignment.
- Partner with Program Management and Data Analytics to support program integrity and reporting.
- Collaborate with Risk Management, Compliance, and Assurance functions to maintain strong controls.
- Support organizational changes that affect policies, training, or governance documentation.
