About the Role
This position leads the day-to-day management of benefits operations for the Americas region, overseeing program accuracy, vendor coordination, employee support, and compliance with local regulations. The role requires strong organizational skills, cross-functional collaboration, and a focus on continuous process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead the administration of health, retirement, and voluntary benefits programs across North and South America
- Ensure benefits data accuracy and timely processing across HR and payroll systems
- Manage relationships with third-party benefits providers and insurance carriers
- Oversee open enrollment planning and execution each plan year
- Support employee inquiries related to benefits through HR channels and self-service tools
- Monitor compliance with local employment laws and reporting requirements in multiple jurisdictions
- Develop and maintain benefits documentation, including summaries and plan materials
- Collaborate with HR, payroll, and legal teams to align benefits strategy with business needs
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency in benefits delivery
- Track and report key performance metrics for benefits programs
- Lead audits and renewals for benefit plans in coordination with brokers and carriers
- Ensure secure handling of employee data in compliance with privacy standards
- Train HR and People team members on benefits policies and processes
- Implement new benefits initiatives and manage change communications
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes affecting benefits in the region
