Ensemble Health Partners is hiring a Manager, Accounts Receivable to direct the AR department and enhance its performance. In this role, you will develop strategies to improve revenue, manage payment and denials trends, and guide team members to achieve operational goals.
What You'll Do
- Support Revenue Cycle leadership in selecting, directing, and developing Accounts Receivable team members.
- Assist team members with problematic claims and provide answers on operational processes.
- Develop short and long-term plans to improve revenue and manage overall payment and denials trends.
- Work with insurance companies to identify reasons for denied payments.
- Collaborate with peers in Coding and Billing to identify, correct, and reduce denials trends.
- Empower staff to develop and implement methods for process improvement.
- Perform ongoing process improvement of daily accounts receivable activities.
- Obtain or generate reports to analyze trends in unpaid claims and denial activity; work with departments to resolve recurring issues.
- Provide relevant guidance to department Supervisors to resolve internal and external issues.
- Develop and manage the departmental budget, including overtime.
- Prepare monthly reports as requested.
- Establish departmental goals with staff to optimize performance and meet budgetary objectives.
- Collect, interpret, and communicate performance data to make decisions on achieving goals.
- Work with internal and external customers to make key decisions impacting the organization or patients.
- Work closely with ancillary departments to maintain positive relations and ensure revenue cycle goals are achieved.
- Provide timely communication to peers and team members for continuity across the Revenue Cycle.
- Plan agendas, lead meetings, and provide notes to enhance communication.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in accounts receivable management within a revenue cycle environment.
- Strong ability to analyze data, generate reports, and develop actionable plans.
- Experience managing staff, including selection, development, and performance.
- Expertise in working with insurance companies to resolve payment denials.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across departments.
- Budget development and management experience.

You will report directly to the Director, Revenue Cycle.
