About the Role

Wolters Kluwer Health is hiring a Major & Strategic Account Executive for our Clinical Decision Support and Provider Solutions (CDSP) business unit. In this remote role, you will be responsible for driving growth and expansion within large hospitals and health systems across the New England territory. Your focus will be a value-driven, relationship-based solution sales model, connecting with C-suite executives and key decision-makers.

What You'll Do

  • Identify target opportunities, build relationships with stakeholders and key decision makers, and determine opportunity accountability.
  • Develop customized product solution proposals and conduct product demonstrations.
  • Coordinate with sales teams for contract creation, terms development, quoting, and modifications.
  • Manage deals through closure and communicate any risks or delays to management.
  • Retain customers and create cross-sell and up-sell opportunities within your named accounts.
  • Conduct regular account review meetings and analyze utilization reports to provide recommendations.
  • Oversee contract renewals.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on account communications planning and marketing campaigns.

What We're Looking For

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • 5 or more years of B2B Healthcare sales experience in a comparable role.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with and present to C-Suite level and other key decision makers.
  • Excellent account management skills and ability to balance external and internal business priorities.
  • Ability to demonstrate and communicate the value of sophisticated and complex products and technologies.
  • High motivation and a proven track record of over-achieving individual and team-based targets.
  • Ability to construct, present, and execute a Territory Business Plan.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.com or another comparable CRM application.
  • Excellent analytical, listening, and presentation skills.
  • Effective time management, prioritization, and strong administrative and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to Have

  • An MBA is preferred.
  • Prior Health Information Technology (HIT) or Software/SaaS sales experience within a Healthcare environment.
  • A proven track record of using a team-based, collaborative sales approach to advance opportunities.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Target salary range for CA, CT, CO, DC, HI, IL, MD, MN, NY, RI, WA: $95,560 - $133,750

Work Mode

This is a fully remote position. You must be located within and authorized to work in the New England territory.
