Group Peer Support (GPS) is hiring a Vendor Return Analyst to manage the process for returning inventory back to suppliers. In this remote role, you will evaluate dated product, negotiate returns, track supplier credits, and work to minimize future inventory issues.
What You'll Do
- Evaluate short-dated inventory to identify items within the supplier return window.
- Create return purchase orders for the Operations team after obtaining supplier approval.
- Monitor and track the shipment of returns and supplier credit memos.
- Analyze root causes for short-dated inventory and recommend solutions to minimize future problems.
- Communicate with suppliers to obtain approval for returns.
- Communicate monthly with the management team to assist sales in moving dated product.
- Contribute to creating and enforcing workflows to meet best business practices.
- Recommend improvements to gain efficiencies, reduce processing time, and reduce write-off amounts.
- Develop and maintain SOP for the return process.
What We're Looking For
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience in a business-related field.
- Organizational, problem solving, and multi-tasking skills with great attention to detail.
- Strong customer orientation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead and interact effectively with individuals at all levels.
- Proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree.
- SAP/ERP experience highly preferred.
