Company is looking for a Maintenance Technician I for the second shift to drive continuous improvement and maximize capabilities in our distribution centers. You will develop, implement, and maintain material handling equipment and property while identifying and troubleshooting mechanical failures.
What You'll Do
- Perform basic facility repairs and mechanical repairs on warehouse distribution equipment.
- Maintain or obtain a PIV license to operate all PIV equipment at the assigned location.
- Perform basic electrical skills, including using a voltage meter and verifying circuits are de-energized for lighting system repairs.
- Perform basic preventative maintenance (PM) on all associated equipment, identifying and repairing damaged or defective equipment.
- Develop positive cross-functional relationships to improve occupancy experience, operating efficiency, and site reliability.
- Use established tools and procedures to identify, organize, and categorize information.
- Effectively utilize typical maintenance shop equipment (e.g., MIG & arc welding, torch, drill press, grinders).
- Operate and maintain mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
