Seneca Gaming Corporation is hiring a Cage Cashier to provide comprehensive monetary services for casino guests and internal departments. You will ensure the secure and accurate handling of all cash transactions while delivering exceptional guest service.
What You'll Do
- Maintain and reconcile all assigned casino assets during your shift.
- Exchange chips, tickets, and coins for cash; process cash advances and personal checks.
- Allot jackpots and distribute slot attendant and cashier banks.
- Order monies, process exchanges, and manage funds for patron deposits, withdrawals, and wire transfers.
- Issue counter checks (markers) to credit customers and accept payments.
- Prepare, verify, and process chip fills and credits; maintain counter check inventories.
- Operate equipment including coin sorters, wrappers, and currency counters.
- Maintain remote kiosks for redemptions, purchases, and jackpots.
- Conform to all rules and regulations of SGC CTR / SAR Compliance.
- Work closely with team members from gaming and casino cage departments.
- Maintain confidentiality of all gaming records and adhere to information security policies.
- Provide exceptional guest service and maintain a professional work environment.
- Complete all required SGC training programs and attend necessary meetings.
- Meet attendance guidelines and adhere to all regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
What We're Looking For
- Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One (1) year of previous cashier or money handling experience.
- Previous customer service experience, with the ability to demonstrate high-level service, listening, and resolution skills.
- Effective math skills; must pass an SGC-administered math skills test.
- Must be able to operate office equipment, including a 10-key adding machine, personal computer, telephone, and multi-function photocopier.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to write routine correspondence.
- Ability to deal effectively and interact well with guests and team members, resolving problems in a diplomatic manner.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and move through all casino areas, and work in a fast-paced casino environment.
- Ability to continuously bend, stoop, squat, balance, kneel, lift, and push/pull.
- Continuously carry up to 25 pounds and lift up to 50 pounds; occasionally push carts weighing up to 100 pounds.
Nice to Have
- Previous clerical or data entry experience.
- Basic knowledge of starting up and closing down cash registers.
- Knowledge and operational skills of coin counters, coin wrapping machines, and currency counters.

Work Mode
This is an onsite position.
