CVS Health is hiring a Community Development Coordinator in San Antonio, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting the Aetna brand and driving membership growth and retention for Aetna Better Health of Texas. You'll serve as a vital connection between the organization and the local community.
What You'll Do
- Conduct monthly outreach including community events, member activities, education sessions, site visits, meetings, and outreach calls.
- Market value adds, member benefits renewals, health education, and community resources during field events and presentations.
- Document all outreach activities accurately in Salesforce.
- Build a detailed outreach calendar 90-days in advance to meet monthly production metrics.
- Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with local government, school districts, universities, state agencies, and community-based organizations.
- Ensure all outreach activities meet departmental standards for quality and compliance.
- Maintain compliance with all required training, including market training, onboarding, Texas Health Steps, CHW topics, and annual CVS modules.
- Provide support for social media outreach events and activities.
- Provide support for all Aetna Better Health of Texas and CVS Health Outreach Vehicle events.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in community outreach within the HMO, healthcare, and/or insurance industries.
- Must reside in San Antonio, Texas.
- Ability to work Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm CST, with flexibility for evenings and weekends as needed.
- Ability to travel within San Antonio up to 60-75% of the time.
- A high school diploma or GED.
Nice to Have
- 5+ years of experience in community outreach within the HMO, healthcare, and/or insurance industries.
- A Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel).
- Demonstrated proficiency with Salesforce.
