$2,000 HIRING BONUS Sumitomo is looking for a full time experienced Maintenance Technician to join our New Berlin, WI team. Brief Description: With limited supervision and technical guidance, keep plant machinery and mechanical in good working order. Perform troubleshooting and problem-solving of various manufacturing machines. Job Duties and Responsibilities include: - Examine machines to diagnose trouble, dismantle machines, replace defective parts, reassemble machines and make necessary adjustments to ensure efficient operation - Repairing modern CNC machines and/or robotics - May occasionally make replacement parts - Cleaning filters and elements and completing general PM on coolant systems and mist collection components - Changing or adding oils and lubricants to production equipment - General cleaning and organization of tools and maintenance area - May need to provide work training to less experienced maintenance staff What skills and experience are needed: - Ability to work under limited supervision with minimal technical guidance - Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors - Three years preventive industrial maintenance experience - Candidates with previous experience with CNC grinding or machining equipment a plus! - General knowledge and skill with basic hand tools - HVAC skills are a plus - Ability to lift 50 lbs.+ Exceptional Benefits: - Outstanding Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance - Paid Vacation and Holidays - 401(k) Employer Match - Company Paid Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance - Company Paid Basic Life Insurance - Educational Reimbursement Work Environment: Well-lit and clean machine shop with moderate noise.
