Sumitomo Electric Carbide, Inc. is hiring a Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

  • Inspect equipment to identify malfunctions, disassemble units, replace faulty components, reassemble, and adjust as needed for optimal performance
  • Troubleshoot and repair advanced CNC machinery and robotic systems
  • Fabricate or fabricate replacement components when necessary
  • Perform routine cleaning of filters, system elements, and preventive maintenance on coolant and mist extraction systems
  • Apply appropriate oils and lubricants during scheduled maintenance of production machinery
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in tool storage and maintenance workspaces
  • Assist in training junior maintenance personnel as required
