Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, and maintain mechanical systems, equipment, and machinery.
- Diagnose and resolve equipment issues while conducting routine preventative maintenance.
- Interpret technical instructions, diagrams, and operational manuals accurately.
- Demonstrate understanding of electrical systems and apply skills for troubleshooting.
- Fabricate and repair components using welding techniques.
- Use electrical testing meters to evaluate system performance and identify faults.
- Follow a structured schedule for inspecting, servicing, and testing equipment.
- Apply knowledge of piping systems, pumps, valves, motors, and fittings.
- Understand mechanical components including gearboxes, bearings, chains, belts, sprockets, and pulleys.
- Clean, repair, and install machinery parts and systems as required.
- Operate sit-down forklifts and articulating boom lifts safely and efficiently.
- Handle various hand and power tools for maintenance tasks.
- Keep workspaces clean, orderly, and compliant with safety standards.
- Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate consistent dependability and readiness to work scheduled shifts.
- Perform general maintenance duties on facility structures as assigned.
- Use Microsoft Office applications for documentation and communication.
- Collaborate effectively with all plant departments to support operations.
- Produce written reports and routine correspondence clearly and accurately.
