Responsibilities
- Advance all initiatives and programs within the maintenance department in alignment with its established Vision and Mission. Ensure clear understanding of the strategic Roadmap and each team member's contribution to progress.
- Establish strong professional credibility with plant staff and the maintenance team by promptly identifying critical issues, communicating assessments, and implementing scheduled permanent solutions. Organize team responsibilities and schedules for peak performance.
- Create and execute a timeline aimed at eliminating emergency repairs by increasing planned maintenance and project-based workloads.
- Lead and optimize the performance, skills, and efficiency of direct-reporting maintenance personnel.
- Oversee maintenance of facilities and outdoor areas to uphold safety standards and operational efficiency essential for food-safe environments. Schedule recurring preventive services according to a structured calendar.
- Conduct audits and manage production equipment to ensure compliance with inspection and certification requirements. Identify external support needed and emphasize safety while enhancing internal team capabilities and communication.
- Ensure seamless coordination between maintenance shifts through structured shift-change meetings, safety briefings, and transitional plans for lead technicians. Include on-site contractors in reviews of work assignments and safety protocols.
- Supervise technical contractors by developing comprehensive packages outlining expectations, contractual terms, responsibilities, and installation specifications.
