Establish and maintain professional credibility with plant and maintenance teams by identifying critical issues, communicating assessments, scheduling permanent fixes, and organizing team responsibilities for peak efficiency.
Create and implement a timeline to reduce emergency repairs and increase the proportion of planned and project-based maintenance activities.
Lead and optimize the performance and efficiency of the direct-report maintenance workforce.
Oversee maintenance of buildings and grounds to uphold safety and operational standards for food-safe environments, scheduling recurring preventive services.
Conduct audits and manage production equipment to meet inspection and certification requirements, identifying external support needed and promoting internal safety and communication.
Ensure seamless coordination between maintenance shifts through structured shift-change and safety meetings, transitional schedules for leads, and inclusion of contractors to review work and safety protocols.
Supervise technical contractors by developing comprehensive packages outlining requirements, responsibilities, contracts, and installation specifications.
