Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is hiring a Maintenance Helper/Mechanic for the 2nd shift to provide critical support ensuring our client's facility operates in optimal condition. At JLL, we empower our people to shape the future of real estate and build meaningful careers where they belong.

What You'll Do

• Provide regular and predictable attendance to support team and client needs.
• Maintain and replace light bulbs throughout the facility.
• Assist the operations team with building and equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Perform general office maintenance, including hanging pictures, installing keyboard trays, and repairing office furniture.
• Complete minor plumbing repairs.
• Conduct minor repairs to lawn and grounds.
• Execute special tasks such as painting, locksmith work, tenant service requests, special cleaning, and general maintenance as assigned.
• Move office furniture, machinery, equipment, and materials.
• Support operational staff in the repair and maintenance of building equipment.
• Comply with policies for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Attend safety training and adhere to all safety policies.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Keep organized records of completed work.
• Set up Maximo routes and perform Maximo data entry.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• A minimum of one year of applicable experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, and electrical.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to comply with both JLL and client-directed policies and procedures.
• Physical ability to stand, use hands, and communicate regularly; walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl frequently.
• Ability to regularly lift/move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift/move up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to work outdoors, in mechanical rooms, and in various weather conditions.
• Ability to work around moving mechanical parts, heavy equipment, and in wet/humid conditions, high places, and with risk of electrical shock.
• Close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Tolerance for exposure to fumes, airborne particles, loud environments, and occasional exposure to toxic/caustic chemicals, extreme cold, and extreme heat.

Nice to Have

• Completion of an applicable technical training program.
• Previous experience using Maximo or similar CMMS systems.
• Experience in commercial or industrial maintenance settings.
