Silgan Containers Mfg Corp is seeking a Mechanic for 3rd shift operations at our advanced manufacturing facility. You will maintain and repair mechanical systems, support the integration of new industrial machinery, and work with precision tools to ensure operational excellence.
What You'll Do
- Assist with the installation and launch of the newest industrial can-making machinery.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and modify all mechanical systems.
- Use precision measuring tools and work with close tolerances up to .00010.
- Work with management to improve work area, safety, quality, cost, and productivity.
- Troubleshoot equipment and tooling.
- Perform preventative maintenance.
- Repair or replace worn parts.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience working with machinery, fixing cars, or farm equipment.
