The Archdiocese of St. Louis is seeking a seasonal Maintenance Helper for Seton Regional Catholic School. This role supports the upkeep and preparation of the school campus during the summer months, ensuring a welcoming and functional environment for the upcoming academic year.
What You'll Do
- Assist with general maintenance duties including painting, cleaning, and minor repairs.
- Support groundskeeping tasks such as mowing, trimming, weeding, mulching, and outdoor cleanup.
- Move furniture, classroom materials, and equipment during classroom reorganization.
- Perform deep-cleaning tasks in classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas.
- Assist maintenance staff with larger projects as required throughout the summer.
- Follow safety procedures and use tools and equipment appropriately.
- Maintain a respectful and responsible work ethic while representing the school’s mission and values.
What We're Looking For
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move items of moderate weight.
- Comfort with physical labor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Positive attitude and respect for the school environment.
