Responsible for running, monitoring, and maintaining production equipment to ensure consistent output, quality standards, and compliance with safety and sanitation protocols.
Responsibilities
- Operate production line machinery according to safety and quality guidelines
- Monitor equipment performance for signs of malfunction or inefficiency
- Perform routine maintenance checks and report issues promptly
- Ensure all products meet established quality standards
- Follow strict hygiene and sanitation procedures
- Adhere to food safety regulations and company protocols
- Assist in troubleshooting mechanical problems
- Support line changeovers and equipment setup
- Maintain accurate production logs and records
- Communicate with supervisors and team members about operational status
- Respond to equipment alarms and emergency stops
- Comply with all personal protective equipment requirements
- Follow standard operating procedures for each machine
- Assist with cleaning and sanitizing work areas
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Report safety hazards immediately
- Participate in safety training and drills
- Support quality control inspections
- Ensure raw materials are correctly loaded and fed into machines
- Watch for inconsistencies in product output
- Assist maintenance technicians when needed
- Keep work area free of debris and contamination risks
- Follow lockout/tagout procedures during maintenance
- Adapt to schedule changes and production demands
