ConnectOS is looking for an M365 Systems Engineer to provide high-level technical support and management for Microsoft 365 environments. In this role with our Australian Managed Services Provider (MSP), you will ensure service delivery meets strict SLAs while following ITIL processes.
What You'll Do
- Provide 2nd & 3rd level technical infrastructure support within agreed SLA parameters.
- Adhere to Incident, Security, Problem, and Change Management processes as defined by the ITIL framework.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for customer environments.
- Provide escalated support for issues routed from other support teams.
- Develop knowledge base articles and documented processes.
- Provide after-hours on-call assistance and escalation when required.
- Assist in generating, reviewing, and presenting monthly customer reports for Microsoft 365 and Intune.
What We're Looking For
- Strong knowledge of M365 Admin Centres, configurations, tools, processes, and operations.
- Hands-on experience managing Microsoft Endpoint Management (Intune / Autopilot).
- Proficiency in managing Microsoft 365 governance and compliance.
- Experience with the Microsoft 365 Defender Suite.
- Deep understanding of core M365 technologies, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams.
- Experience with hybrid environments integrating Microsoft 365 services.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Lighthouse and the Partner Centre.
- An ITIL certification.
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications and/or IT industry certifications, with Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert as mandatory, or a prerequisite Associate certification.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience working within a Managed Services Provider (MSP).
- Microsoft development experience with GRAPH API, PowerShell scripting, GitHub, or Power Apps.
- Experience implementing Microsoft/Office 365 services.
- Experience with access and privilege management in cloud platforms.
- Modern Work management knowledge, including Apple support services.
- Wintel experience with servers and Active Directory services.
- Familiarity with Virtual Private Networking.
- Experience with Antivirus and Backup technologies.
- Any other valid Microsoft certification.
