Side is looking for a freelance LQA Game Tester (Traditional Chinese) to ensure our localized games are polished and culturally authentic. You will be the first to see the complete game in Traditional Chinese, acting as a critical gatekeeper for linguistic quality and consistency.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with a global project team.
- Identify and correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, and other language errors.
- Ensure adherence to console manufacturer guidelines.
- Log details of errors and issues, providing improvement suggestions.
- Ensure accurate translation within context and maintain consistency in terminology and imagery.
- Identify missing or incorrect content and ensure proper display/format of dates, calendars, and characters.
- Write reports on errors and bugs found and perform ad hoc translation.
- Oversee the quality of your work, collaborate with the team, and contribute to the overall success of projects.
What We're Looking For
- Fluency in Traditional Chinese and conversational proficiency in English.
- Strong cultural understanding of Traditional Chinese-speaking regions.
- Computer literacy, particularly with Excel.
- Robust Internet research skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Previous experience with using different software, applications, and websites.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and collaborate within project teams.
- Candidate must be located within Europe.
