Lely is looking for a Software Test Engineer to join our Product Development team. In this role, you will contribute to the quality and reliability of our robotic solutions by ensuring new software is technically sound, user-friendly, and stable in real-world conditions. You will be a key member of a multidisciplinary Scrum team dedicated to a specific Lely product.
What You'll Do
- Create and execute test cases for new and existing software functionalities.
- Review test approaches and results with fellow test engineers.
- Apply different testing methodologies, such as risk-based and integration testing.
- Analyze test results and clearly communicate findings to the development team.
- Contribute to quality improvements for new features and software updates.
- Build system knowledge to understand how our robots function as a whole.
What We're Looking For
- A bachelor-level working and thinking capability.
- Approximately 1–2 years of experience; internships or graduation projects in software or testing are also relevant.
- Experience with Embedded software and technology.
- The ability to define structured test cases and work in a systematic way.
- Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
Nice to Have
- A technical degree.
- Experience with robotics.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
