About the Role
We are seeking a Backend Quality Assurance Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for our backend services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software quality assurance, with a focus on backend systems. This role involves collaborating with development teams to ensure the quality and reliability of our products, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our testing processes.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated testing frameworks for backend services.
- Create and maintain test cases and test scripts.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve issues.
- Ensure the quality and reliability of backend services.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes.
- Participate in code reviews and pair programming sessions.
- Monitor and analyze test results to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Work with stakeholders to understand testing requirements and priorities.
- Document testing processes and procedures.

- Troubleshoot and debug issues in testing frameworks and scripts.
- Provide feedback to development teams on testing findings and recommendations.

- Conduct performance testing to ensure backend services meet performance requirements.
- Participate in on-call rotations to support production systems.
- Collaborate with other QA engineers to share knowledge and best practices.
- Contribute to the development of test data and test environments.
- Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Ensure that testing activities align with project timelines and milestones.
- Provide input on the selection and implementation of testing tools and technologies.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure testing activities are integrated with development and deployment processes.
- Participate in the development of test automation frameworks and tools.
