Amentum is looking for a Logistics Specialist Fielding and Equipment Training III to provide senior-level logistics expertise. You will join a team supporting the PM Soldier Survivability (PM SSV) project office under Program Executive Office Soldier, whose mission is to rapidly deliver enhanced protection, individual equipment, and aviation life support capabilities.
What You'll Do
- Conduct strategic and campaign planning, prioritize receiving organizations, and develop execution plans.
- Manage stock levels, account for issued items, handle shortages, and prepare and deliver program briefings.
- Interface and coordinate with ASAALT, AMC, Army Commands, and receiving units for logistics and training requirements.
- Establish, organize, and direct work coordinating the planning, programming, and execution of fielding operations.
- Assist with staffing Material Fielding Plans, New Equipment Fielding Plans, total package fielding, and Government Furnished Equipment tracking.
- Ensure accurate input for all aspects of property accountability related to Materiel Fielding.
- Oversee successful fielding accomplishment by issuing equipment per the approved Basis of Issue.
- Identify product discrepancies, manage fielding station stock, and assist in resolving Soldier equipment issues.
- Establish, vet, and train Fielding Teams to conduct on-site fielding activities.
- Plan fielding site setup, execute fielding events, pack equipment for shipment, and conduct New Materiel In Briefs and New Equipment Training.
- Coordinate VIP displays, firing ranges with ammunition for NET, IKPT interface with suppliers for NET Program of Instruction, and provide oversight for recurring training on fielded products.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s Degree and greater than ten (10) years of relevant experience OR fifteen (15) years or more of relevant experience.
- Active US Government Secret Clearance. US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Government Clearance.
- Certified trainer with a minimum of six (6) months of training time.
- Prior use of Logistics Automated Systems.
- Prior jump certification, as required.
