Paired is hiring a Logistics Manager for a US-based client company. This remote role involves managing end-to-end logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, to optimize the supply chain and ensure timely, cost-effective deliveries.
What You'll Do
- Oversee the entire logistics process from order processing to final delivery, planning and implementing strategies to improve efficiency.
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, carriers, and service providers to ensure effective delivery of goods.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with teams to forecast demand and mitigate stock shortages or excess.
- Analyze transportation and logistics costs, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring adherence to the budget.
- Ensure all logistics activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Utilize logistics data and analytics tools to assess performance and implement process improvements.
- Work with sales, operations, and customer service teams to align logistics processes with organizational goals.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Logistics Manager or in a similar role, preferably in a remote work environment.
- Strong knowledge of logistics processes, supply chain management, and transportation regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Proficiency with logistics software and tools, including inventory management systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with budget management and cost control practices.
Nice to Have
- Certifications in Logistics or Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS, CSCMP).
- Experience with international logistics and shipping.
- Proven track record of optimizing logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
