Responsibilities
- Support organizational transportation needs by overseeing carrier pickups and deliveries, ensuring service metrics are achieved, optimizing daily routing for cost efficiency, and maintaining updated shipping documentation.
- Review freight invoices for accuracy and adherence to contracts, assign appropriate general ledger codes, and manage freight claim negotiations.
- Independently resolve logistics issues or customer concerns while meeting targets for cost, productivity, precision, and timeliness.
- Keep accurate records related to import classification and regulatory audits.
- Develop reporting systems to track supply chain performance, including transportation costs, service levels, and distribution planning.
- Adhere to internal policies and external regulations such as business conduct standards, antitrust laws, confidentiality agreements, and labor compliance requirements.
- Align daily operations with the organization’s strategic vision and core mission.
