Responsibilities
- Arranges comprehensive travel itineraries for field operations personnel, securing airfare, accommodations, rental vehicles, and ground transportation at optimal rates.
- Leverages approved vendor partnerships to reduce costs and support financial efficiency within the field operations budget.
- Adheres to organizational policies covering customer service, equipment use, internet usage, attendance, work precision, and billing procedures.
- Collaborates as an active team member to fulfill travel-related tasks such as itinerary processing, administrative support, and managing travel credits.
- Investigates and resolves travel issues encountered by staff, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Stays current on airline policies, industry regulations, and compliance factors affecting staff travel, applying and sharing this knowledge accurately during booking processes.
- Provides logistical support across various aspects of inventory team operations, including travel and expense coordination.
- Demonstrates proficiency in digital tools and platforms used for travel management, including internet applications and Microsoft Office suite.
- Possesses familiarity with corporate online travel systems and engages with hotel sales representatives to secure favorable pricing.
- Attends operational and training sessions related to field operations and travel coordination procedures.
- Proactively communicates challenges or critical issues to management and team leads, offering potential resolutions.
- Implements corrective measures swiftly when problems arise in travel logistics.
- Cultivates positive relationships across departments to encourage a cooperative, productive, and respectful workplace environment.
- Aligns scheduling logistics with staffing assignments and project requirements for inventory initiatives.
- Remains accessible to team members outside standard hours to address urgent travel concerns.
