What You'll Do
Lead logistics planning and execution across the lifecycle of defense systems, ensuring seamless support for material, personnel, maintenance, and repair operations. Deliver strategic assessments by analyzing national and regional security documents, identifying impacts and opportunities for the Security Assistance Enterprise. Support the development and implementation of USASAC's strategic initiatives through data-driven recommendations and milestone planning.
Conduct feasibility studies, define logistics requirements, and help shape policy standards and operational procedures. Collaborate with junior logisticians to identify challenges, analyze data, and recommend solutions. Use strong analytical and communication skills to enhance demand forecasting, transportation logistics, and customer engagement.
Requirements
- Active Secret clearance
- Must be able to work on-site at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL
- Proven experience in logistics and program management for military or defense systems
- Demonstrated ability to analyze strategic and operational data
- Proficiency in synthesizing logistics and programmatic information
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication capabilities
- Direct experience with Foreign Military Sales (FMS) processes
- Familiarity with USASAC policies and procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior work on Army FMS programs
- Knowledge of security assistance frameworks and enterprise initiatives
- Background in lifecycle logistics for defense platforms
- Training or experience in military logistics or defense support operations
