About the Role
The role involves managing quality assurance activities on-site, supporting audits, monitoring quality metrics, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain high standards across operations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular quality audits and assessments to verify compliance with internal and external standards
- Monitor key quality performance indicators and report on trends and deviations
- Support root cause analysis and corrective action processes for quality incidents
- Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to resolve production quality issues
- Ensure adherence to documented quality management procedures
- Participate in supplier quality evaluations and improvement initiatives
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of quality management systems
- Review and approve quality-related documentation and records
- Track and manage non-conformance reports and ensure timely closure
- Support product and process change validation from a quality perspective
- Facilitate internal training on quality standards and procedures
- Work with regulatory teams to prepare for external audits
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant industry standards
- Drive continuous improvement projects focused on quality enhancement
- Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of quality control equipment
- Coordinate with global quality teams to align local practices
- Implement corrective and preventive actions based on audit findings
- Support new product introduction with quality planning and risk assessment
- Verify compliance with customer-specific quality requirements
- Maintain quality documentation in line with retention policies
- Contribute to process optimization to reduce defect rates
- Escalate critical quality issues to management promptly
- Promote a culture of quality awareness across departments
- Ensure traceability in production and testing processes
- Support sustainability initiatives related to quality and waste reduction
