Aumovio is hiring a Local SQM Engineer (m/f/div) - Quality Management

About the Role

The role involves managing quality assurance activities on-site, supporting audits, monitoring quality metrics, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain high standards across operations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular quality audits and assessments to verify compliance with internal and external standards
  • Monitor key quality performance indicators and report on trends and deviations
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective action processes for quality incidents
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to resolve production quality issues
  • Ensure adherence to documented quality management procedures
  • Participate in supplier quality evaluations and improvement initiatives
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of quality management systems
  • Review and approve quality-related documentation and records
  • Track and manage non-conformance reports and ensure timely closure
  • Support product and process change validation from a quality perspective
  • Facilitate internal training on quality standards and procedures
  • Work with regulatory teams to prepare for external audits
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant industry standards
  • Drive continuous improvement projects focused on quality enhancement
  • Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of quality control equipment
  • Coordinate with global quality teams to align local practices
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions based on audit findings
  • Support new product introduction with quality planning and risk assessment
  • Verify compliance with customer-specific quality requirements
  • Maintain quality documentation in line with retention policies
  • Contribute to process optimization to reduce defect rates
  • Escalate critical quality issues to management promptly
  • Promote a culture of quality awareness across departments
  • Ensure traceability in production and testing processes
  • Support sustainability initiatives related to quality and waste reduction
