GROWMARK is looking for a Lobby Receptionist to serve as the welcoming face and voice of our organization. Reporting to the HR & Corporate Services Senior Manager, you will deliver unsurpassed customer service, manage front desk operations, and maintain a welcoming lobby environment for all visitors, guests, and employees.
What You'll Do
- Greet and welcome visitors, guests, and employees in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage access control by issuing visitor badges and monitoring visitor sign-in/sign-out procedures.
- Coordinate visitor arrivals with departments and notify employees of guest presence.
- Support new hire onboarding by creating welcome slides and assigning badges.
- Monitor and retrieve voicemail messages from the operator phone line, forwarding them appropriately.
- Provide accurate information about GROWMARK and direct inquiries to the correct person or department.
- Perform administrative tasks within AlertMedia, including managing user groups and message templates.
- Utilize Embed software to design and manage content for building-wide TV monitors.
- Coordinate and publish the weekly food truck schedule and communicate updates to employees.
- Receive and manage lunch and catering orders and notify employees upon arrival.
- Receive incoming packages and deliveries and notify the Corporate Services team.
- Manage the 1705 SharePoint site on employeeCentral.
- Actively engage with local businesses to establish employee discount partnerships.
- Coordinate and communicate building information to employees as needed.
- Maintain inventory of office supplies and reorder as needed.
- Continuously monitor security camera feeds and report suspicious activity.
- Assist with additional administrative tasks as needed.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a customer-facing role.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to interact with individuals at all levels.
- Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail.
- Proven customer service, teamwork, business writing, communication, and business etiquette skills.
- Demonstrated ability to retain confidential information.
- Experience and comfort working in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint.
- Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
- Ability and willingness to participate in required training.
- Ability to work hours beyond those considered 'normal'.
