Responsibilities
- Process multiple types of loans handled by lending personnel, emphasizing non-real estate loans, including managing denied and withdrawn applications.
- Prepare loan documents in compliance with internal bank standards and federal and state legal requirements.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of all loan paperwork.
- Develop and retain a foundational understanding of loan tickets.
- Ensure lending team members adhere to bank policies and properly record any deviations.
- Serve as a communication link between loan officers, the appraisal unit, and legal counsel when needed.
- Examine current loan records for missing or incomplete documentation when processing related new loan applications.
- Keep the collateral monitoring and document digitization system accurate and up to date.
- Support lending staff in resolving documentation discrepancies.
- Provide assistance to lending personnel for general inquiries.
- Stay informed on relevant state and federal regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Maintain a basic understanding of consumer and general lending policies.
- Respond to incoming calls related to customer service needs.
- Carry out additional tasks as directed by management.
