Western Alliance Bancorporation is hiring a Loan Processing Team Lead to lead a team of Loan Processors and Loan Processing Assistants. In this role, you are responsible for achieving daily objectives and KPIs through effective management of training, development, scheduling, and performance while ensuring strict compliance with policies and procedures. You will collaborate closely with various lending departments to drive team and departmental success.
What You'll Do
- Manage the overall production, performance, daily responsibilities, tasks, motivation, scheduling, and training of Loan Processors and Loan Processing Assistants.
- Administer policies, procedures, and compliance-related functions for the Loan Processor Assistant role.
- Work closely with Processing and Operations leadership to achieve team and department monthly goals.
- Collaborate with Retail Lending departments including Sales, Underwriting, Closing, Disclosures, Post-Closing, and Compliance.
- Assign tasks to Loan Processing Assistants to ensure KPIs are met for each designated processing team.
- Lead and develop a team, including responsibilities for hiring, coaching, performance management, training and development.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of related experience in Mortgage Processing, Mortgage Operations Team Leader, Mortgage Processing Manager, or a similar field.
- High school diploma required.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of the residential mortgage industry in Correspondent or Retail Lending, including sales, operations, capital markets and/or other residential mortgage products and services.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
- Intermediate to advanced experience in using mortgage-related LOS systems, such as Encompass and other CRM-related systems.
- Intermediate experience in formulating, developing, and implementing best-practice processing procedures.
- Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills.

- Previous leadership experience preferred.

- Hourly range for new hires is generally $66,440.00 - $82,073.00 for Nevada. Salary amount is determined by specific job location.
Work Mode
This is a remote position. Candidates must be based in Arizona.
