Responsibilities
- Identify, structure, and manage mid- to long-term commercial agreements
- Serve as the primary liaison for counterparties in a designated region
- Originate and negotiate mid- to long-term LNG transactions, including natural gas components where applicable, from initial due diligence through contract execution
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to develop and finalize transaction terms aligned with company strategy
- Maintain strong industry relationships to gather market intelligence and uncover new deal opportunities
- Assist in designing hedging strategies and managing capacity positions in coordination with internal desks
Responsibilities (6)
- Mid/long-term deal origination, structuring, execution & management
- Market access focal point for the assigned region’s counterparties
- Originate LNG (including natural gas component, if any) mid to long-term transactions (i.e., 3 years and beyond) from KYC to gathering intel to structuring termsheets to execution, including negotiating and contracting terms in coordination with external and internal teams that are aligned with MET LNG strategy
- Leverage and maintain excellent relationships with external players to provide intel and identify opportunities for new transactions
- Support structuring of related hedges/trades and capacity positions with internal team(s)
- Any ad hoc duties
