Great Opportunity for an experienced LNA with 1+ years of experience in WMCH. We have a bustling unit with 16 dedicated Labor and Delivery rooms and 14 additional post-partum swing rooms. Job Summary: Responsible for providing comprehensive basic nursing care, including: - Assisting with bathing, dressing, eating, mobility, and toileting - Taking vital signs and obtaining specimens - Observing and reporting patient information - Performing basic first aid Patient Care: Yes Essential Functions: - Obtain and record vital signs and weights per policy - Provide hands-on patient/client care - Manage patient grooming and personal care - Assist patients with meals, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration - Collect and transport soiled linen - Support physicians and licensed nurses during treatments and procedures - Manage patient toileting and incontinence care - Report patient condition changes, concerns, or complaints to charge nurse or supervisor Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent (required) Experience in lieu of degree: No Licenses and Credentials: - Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - Required - Nursing Assistant [LNA - New Hampshire] - New Hampshire Board of Nursing Required Experience: - Clinical/Medical Office/Managed Care: 1-2 years preferred - Nursing Assistant Experience: 0-1 year preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - Proficient in nursing assistant practices, personal care, and basic medical services - Knowledgeable of patient rights, privacy, and confidentiality - Demonstrates sensitivity to patient and employee needs - Committed to maintaining highest confidentiality standards - Strong written and oral communication skills - Ability to lift 50 pounds independently Physical Requirements: (Extensive list of physical activities and frequencies remains unchanged) Remote Type: Onsite Work Location: 789 Central Avenue Scheduled Weekly Hours: 36 Employee Type: Regular Work Shift: Night (United States of America) EEO Statement: Wentworth-Douglass Hospital is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
