Welocalize is hiring a Linguistic Quality Control Specialist on a freelance or agency-contract basis. You will perform critical quality assessments on translated content to ensure linguistic accuracy and brand consistency for our global clients.
What You'll Do
- Execute linguistic quality control checks on translated materials
- Identify and categorize errors related to terminology, grammar, style, and locale-specific requirements
- Provide clear, actionable feedback to translation teams to improve output quality
- Collaborate with project managers to uphold and refine quality standards
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in linguistic quality assurance, proofreading, or translation review
- Native-level proficiency in at least one language pair with a focus on cultural nuance
- Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a distributed team environment
Work Mode
This is a remote position. Candidates can be based worldwide, with a strong preference for those in Madrid (Spain), Europe, or Latin America.
