Nacar is looking for a Lifecycle Marketing Manager (Email & SMS) to own our key retention channels. You will drive engagement and growth for our direct-to-consumer subscription brand by managing the day-to-day strategy and execution of our email and SMS marketing programs.
What You'll Do
- Own the day-to-day strategy and execution of email and SMS marketing programs, focused on acquisition, cross-sell, churn prevention, referral, and winback.
- Collaborate with the Director of Lifecycle Marketing to manage the campaign calendar aligned with cultural moments, seasonal themes, promos, and product launches.
- Create clear, strategic briefs for copywriting and design teams to deliver engaging lifecycle content.
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics (open rates, CTRs, CVR, churn) and deliver weekly reports with actionable insights.
- Lead A/B testing and ongoing optimization—testing send times, frequencies, copy, creative, CTAs, segmentation, and more.
- Refine customer segmentation and journey mapping to tailor messaging for key audience groups.
- Develop and execute list growth strategies for both email and SMS, leveraging high-impact acquisition tactics.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality deployments, with strong attention to compliance, segmentation, and user experience.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM), and emerging strategies in lifecycle marketing.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, email/SMS marketing, or retention marketing.
- Hands-on experience with platforms like Klaviyo, Postscript, or Attentive.
- Deep understanding of segmentation, personalization, and marketing automation.
- Analytical mindset—you know how to turn data into decisions.
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to work cross-functionally under tight timelines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills—you can confidently collaborate with creatives to bring ideas to life.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in DTC subscription-based businesses is a strong plus.
