1Password is looking for a Lifecycle Marketing Manager to develop and optimize sophisticated multi-channel marketing programs across the full customer journey. You will act as a strategic thought partner to accelerate prospect acquisition, drive engagement, increase expansion, and maximize retention.
What You'll Do
- Act as a strategic thought partner in defining lifecycle marketing strategy, contributing to go-to-market planning, experimentation frameworks, and customer journey mapping.
- Continuously refine segmentation strategies to deliver personalized communications based on customer behavior, needs, and lifecycle stage.
- Develop and execute high-impact lifecycle marketing strategies to drive engagement and revenue growth across the full end-to-end prospect journey.
- Partner with Product and Customer Success to incorporate user feedback, usage data, and product adoption insights into lifecycle strategies.
- Drive upsell, cross-sell, and customer education programs that support product adoption and account expansion.
- Manage end-to-end lifecycle campaigns, including segmentation, targeting, scheduling, deployment, and optimization across multiple channels including email, in-app messaging, push notifications, chat, and more.
- Drive strategic briefs and production of content and messaging tailored to customer segments and lifecycle stages, from acquisition through retention.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define segment strategies, lifecycle goals, and orchestrate integrated campaigns with clear feedback loops and reporting frameworks.
- Stay current with lifecycle marketing trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance program effectiveness.
- Leverage marketing automation, CRM, and analytics platforms to track campaign effectiveness, analyze lifecycle metrics, and optimize performance across the customer journey.
- Partner with MarTech & Ops teams to develop sophisticated automation workflows and journey orchestration in marketing automation platforms.
- Partner with Marketing analytics to standardize lifecycle marketing dashboards and reporting frameworks to track customer progression through key stages.
- Deliver actionable insights to stakeholders on lifecycle program performance, including conversion metrics, engagement trends, and optimization opportunities.
- Apply data-driven experimentation across lifecycle stages to continuously improve customer acquisition, engagement, and retention metrics.
- Manage and leverage our chatbot, Drift, to serve content that will educate users, and help them discover features and value of 1Password and drive them to conversion.
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of B2B lifecycle marketing experience.
- 2+ years of experience working with a conversational chatbot provider (Drift is recommended).
- Proven success in working with cross-functional teams, such as Analytics, Product and Sales, to create and execute against shared goals.
- A passion for understanding the customer, their needs, and how we can best address them.
- Strong project management capabilities and campaign planning expertise.
- Self-motivated professional who excels in fast-paced, complex environments.
- Innovation-driven mindset with commitment to experimentation and industry best practices.
- Highly quantitative and drives decisions using data.
- Impeccable eye for detail and critical thinker who can develop creative solutions.
- Proficient in G-Suite, CRM software, marketing automation or email marketing software (Salesforce, Marketo are a plus).
- Ambitious self-starter who is not afraid to be hands-on and execute when needed.
- Strong conversion-oriented copywriting skills.
- Naturally curious by nature and driven to test new technologies and AI to enhance our lifecycle programs.

- Compensation: USA: $99,000 USD - $135,000 USD annually. Canada: $97,000 CAD - $131,000 CAD annually. + equity: Equity grant provided.
