Kin Insurance is looking for a Licensed Sales Agent (Property & Casualty, Personal Lines) to deliver expert consultation to homeowners, close sales, and build lasting relationships. You will handle inbound inquiries, recommend tailored insurance solutions, and guide customers through the sales process.
What You'll Do
- Connect with potential customers via phone, email, and text to understand needs and recommend tailored insurance solutions.
- Exceed sales targets by building strong relationships and applying effective sales techniques.
- Clearly communicate the benefits of insurance offerings and address customer questions.
- Leverage company-provided leads to drive sales and follow up to move customers through the sales funnel.
- Collaborate with underwriters and customer service reps to ensure a smooth experience from inquiry to policy issuance.
- Simplify complex insurance jargon and educate customers on coverage options.
What We're Looking For
- At least 6 months of homeowners insurance experience in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Active P&C licensure within your current state of residence.
- Outstanding communicator with a natural ability to build relationships and gain trust.
- Proven track record as a closer with strong negotiation skills and a history of exceeding sales targets.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented focus and a passion for hitting sales goals.
- Ability to adhere to metrics, schedules, and training protocols while juggling multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and telephone software, with the ability to efficiently use multiple platforms simultaneously.
- Must be available Monday–Friday for assigned shift (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM CST or 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM CST).
- Must work a rotating Saturday shift every 4–6 weeks.
- Must complete mandatory paid 8+ week training period.
Nice to Have
- Call center experience.
- Previous insurance sales experience (even if not recent) if license and CE are maintained.
- Strong sales background from other industries.
- Licensed in California and/or Surplus Lines License.
