McLaren Health Care Village is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will provide direct patient care to adult, pediatric, and geriatric populations under the direction of a Registered Nurse. You will utilize the nursing process while demonstrating behaviors that support our values and function effectively within a team environment.
What You'll Do
- Support the mission and vision of McLaren Port Huron through actions that reflect our values.
- Contribute to the assessment of patients’ physical and psychological needs and strengths.
- Contribute to developing individualized nursing care plans.
- Contribute to the implementation of patient care plans.
- Contribute to the evaluation of adult and geriatric patient care plans.
- Contribute to the management and efficient operation of the nursing unit.
- Demonstrate commitment to personal career growth and competency.
- Perform other related job duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Graduate of an approved Practical Nurse program.
- Current Michigan license for a Practical Nurse.
- BLS and Canadian Equivalent certification.
Nice to Have
- One (1) year of experience in general LPN or hospital experience.
Team & Environment
You will function within a team setting, reporting to and working under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
Work Mode
This is an onsite position located in Port Huron, Michigan.
