Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) Job Snapshot Clearwater, FL | Remote / Telehealth | Full-Time $115,000–$120,000 per year with full benefits Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Job Summary This role is for a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who is comfortable providing therapy in a virtual care setting. You will work with clients through scheduled video sessions, helping them identify concerns, process challenges, and make progress toward treatment goals. Your responsibilities will include assessment, treatment planning, counseling, documentation, and progress monitoring. The position is a good match for an LMHC who can stay organized, communicate well, and provide consistent care from a remote workspace. Responsibilities Deliver individual counseling through telehealth sessions Conduct intake assessments and review client history Identify client goals and create appropriate care plans Provide therapy for common mental health concerns Teach coping skills, emotional regulation tools, and problem-solving strategies Maintain accurate clinical records Update treatment plans based on progress and ongoing needs Follow privacy, ethics, and licensing guidelines Manage clinical tasks within expected timelines Requirements Master’s degree in Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or related field Active LMHC license in Florida Experience providing therapy in a clinical, outpatient, private practice, or telehealth setting Strong understanding of clinical documentation and treatment planning Comfortable working with clients through video-based care Ability to manage a caseload independently Reliable internet connection and a private workspace Benefits 2 weeks PTO Health Insurance 401K Plan with 3% Company Match If you are an LMHC who wants a remote therapy role with a strong salary and steady clinical work, we would like to hear from you.
