About the Role
The role involves delivering clinical social work services, including evaluation, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions for individuals, families, and groups experiencing psychological, emotional, or behavioral challenges.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions
- Diagnose mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
- Refer clients to community resources and support services
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment as needed
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in case conferences and team meetings
- Respond to client crises and provide emergency interventions
- Facilitate psychoeducation groups
- Engage clients in goal-setting and recovery planning
- Coordinate care with external providers and agencies
- Conduct risk assessments for self-harm or harm to others
- Support clients through transitions in care
- Advocate for client needs within systems
- Maintain licensure and continuing education requirements
- Uphold ethical standards in clinical practice
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- Assist in training or mentoring junior staff when needed
- Document services in a timely and accurate manner
- Ensure informed consent is obtained
- Promote client autonomy and dignity
- Address cultural and linguistic needs in service delivery
