About the Role
The role involves providing clinical social work services including diagnosis, therapy, and case management for clients across diverse populations. The candidate will collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments
- Diagnose and treat mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions
- Coordinate care with physicians and other health professionals
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records
- Facilitate crisis intervention when necessary
- Engage clients in treatment planning and goal setting
- Conduct home visits as required
- Participate in clinical supervision and team meetings
- Ensure compliance with licensing and regulatory standards
- Advocate for client needs within social service systems
- Refer clients to community resources and support programs
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment strategies
- Respond to after-hours emergencies as part of rotation
- Educate clients and families on mental health topics
- Support clients through transitions in care
- Maintain professional development through training
- Uphold ethical standards in clinical practice
- Contribute to program evaluation and quality improvement
Nice to Have
- Three or more years of clinical practice experience
- Specialization in child and adolescent mental health
- Experience with substance use disorder treatment
- Training in cognitive behavioral therapy
- Knowledge of dual diagnosis treatment approaches
- Experience in outpatient mental health clinics
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms
- Supervisory experience with junior staff
- Bilingual communication skills
- Certification in a recognized therapy modality
