About the Role

The role involves delivering individual and group therapy, conducting clinical assessments, and developing treatment plans for patients experiencing mental health challenges, all through a secure telehealth platform.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver individual and group psychotherapy sessions using secure telehealth technology
  • Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to determine patient needs
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust clinical strategies as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient outcomes
  • Provide crisis intervention and risk assessment when necessary
  • Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and ethical standards
  • Engage in ongoing clinical documentation and case management
  • Participate in team meetings and case consultations
  • Support patient engagement and retention in treatment programs
  • Coordinate care with primary care providers and specialists
  • Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and coping strategies
  • Adhere to HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements
  • Respond to patient messages within established response time guidelines
  • Attend required training and professional development sessions
  • Follow clinical supervision protocols and requirements
  • Uphold organizational policies and clinical best practices
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives
  • Maintain current licensure and continuing education credits
  • Support a culturally competent and inclusive clinical environment
  • Assist in refining clinical workflows and patient resources
  • Participate in peer review and case audits
  • Promote trauma-informed care principles in all interactions
  • Use validated assessment tools to guide treatment decisions

Nice to Have

  • Three or more years of clinical experience
  • Experience in a telehealth-focused practice
  • Training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)
  • Experience with dialectical behavior therapy (DBT)
  • Background in integrated behavioral health settings
  • Familiarity with psychiatric medication basics
  • Supervision experience or interest in mentoring
  • Additional certifications in mental health specialties
  • Experience with diverse patient populations
  • Knowledge of community resources and referrals
