About the Role
The role involves delivering individual and group therapy, conducting clinical assessments, and developing treatment plans for patients experiencing mental health challenges, all through a secure telehealth platform.
Responsibilities
- Deliver individual and group psychotherapy sessions using secure telehealth technology
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to determine patient needs
- Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans
- Monitor patient progress and adjust clinical strategies as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient outcomes
- Provide crisis intervention and risk assessment when necessary
- Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and ethical standards
- Engage in ongoing clinical documentation and case management
- Participate in team meetings and case consultations
- Support patient engagement and retention in treatment programs
- Coordinate care with primary care providers and specialists
- Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and coping strategies
- Adhere to HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements
- Respond to patient messages within established response time guidelines
- Attend required training and professional development sessions
- Follow clinical supervision protocols and requirements
- Uphold organizational policies and clinical best practices
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain current licensure and continuing education credits
- Support a culturally competent and inclusive clinical environment
- Assist in refining clinical workflows and patient resources
- Participate in peer review and case audits
- Promote trauma-informed care principles in all interactions
- Use validated assessment tools to guide treatment decisions
Nice to Have
- Three or more years of clinical experience
- Experience in a telehealth-focused practice
- Training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)
- Experience with dialectical behavior therapy (DBT)
- Background in integrated behavioral health settings
- Familiarity with psychiatric medication basics
- Supervision experience or interest in mentoring
- Additional certifications in mental health specialties
- Experience with diverse patient populations
- Knowledge of community resources and referrals
